Microcontrollers and supported Flowchart parts

Not all Flowchart parts are supported by all microcontrollers and programmers:

• PICAXE and STAMP support all Flowchart parts and settings.
• PICs do not support the Sound part.
  • PICLAB programmers do not support the following parts or settings: Random, Read input (digital input, pulse length or long term memory settings), Write output (pulse length or long term memory settings)

Note that this does not affect the simulation of programs: all flowchart elements can program all simulated microcontrollers in Crocodile Technology. These details are only important in connection with the programming of real microcontrollers (i.e. flowchart export).

If a program containing a particular Flowchart part is transferred to an incompatible microcontroller (or through an incompatible programmer), the problem will be described in an error message.
